What Information We Collect and How We Collect It

We collect the following types of information:

• Contact information such as your name, phone number, and email address.
• Information required for performing credit inquiries and processing loan applications, such as your Social Security number.
• Information obtained from any consumer reporting agency, such as your credit history.

With Whom We Share Collected Information

Complete Car Loans may share the information we collect about you, described above, with our affiliates and non-affiliated third parties, as described below:

• To institutions such as dealers, retailers, vehicle service contract and insurance providers, banks, finance companies, direct marketing companies, and their service providers.
• To affiliates and service providers who perform professional services for us. An affiliate is defined as a company related by common ownership or control. It can be a financial or non-financial company.

What Choices You Have Regarding the Use of Your Information

As a new Complete Car Loans customer, your information will be shared with parties as described above. Once your information is submitted, however, you always have the option of opting out from our service.

SMS Communications

If you opt in to receive text messages from Complete Car Loans, the following applies to that messaging program:

• Program & purpose. By opting in, you consent to receive SMS/text messages from Complete Car Loans related to your financing application, including application updates, approval notifications, appointment scheduling, next-step and customer-support communications, and account-related notifications. Message frequency varies.
• Consent is optional. Providing SMS consent is not a condition of any purchase or of financing. You may complete an application without opting in to text messages.
• Opt-out. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to cancel, or HELP for assistance. You may receive a final confirmation message after opting out.
• Rates. Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
• Data sharing. Mobile information (phone numbers, consent status, and messaging data) will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information may only be shared with service providers who assist in delivering SMS messages on our behalf.
• Carriers. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. SMS services may not be available on all carriers or devices.

Consent for Electronic Documents

Consent for electronic documents under the Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act

Please read this information carefully and print a copy and/or retain this information electronically for future reference.

Introduction

You are submitting your electronic credit application related to the sale and/or financing of an automobile (“Application”) through a website: (a) administered by Complete Car Loans; or (b) maintained by or on behalf of automobile dealers and financial services providers (each, an “Auto Marketing Partner”) that have entered into agreements with Complete Car Loans. The terms “we,” “us,” and “our” in this Consent for Electronic Documents (“Consent”) refer individually and collectively to Complete Car Loans. You are submitting your Application for consideration by Complete Car Loans (CCL) and other Auto Marketing Partners.

Description of Disclosures and Consent

You are or may be entitled to receive certain disclosures if you submit your Application through the referenced websites, including those that: (a) notify you about the response or decision made by CCL or an Auto Marketing Partner in connection with your Application; (b) disclose how we generally collect, use, and disclose nonpublic personal information about you; (c) disclose how, with your consent or at your direction to process your Application or provide the financial services you requested, we and our Auto Marketing Partners may collect, use and share information about you and your Application; and (d) any related documents or notices we are permitted or required to give you under applicable law (collectively, the “Disclosures”).

To submit your Application through the referenced websites, you must give your initial consent to use and accept certain signatures, records, and Disclosures in electronic form. This Consent applies to the Disclosures and any Application you submit for consideration by CCL and other Auto Marketing Partners through the referenced websites.

Hardware and Software Requirements

Before you decide to receive Disclosures electronically, you must determine if you have the necessary hardware and software to access and keep these electronic Disclosures. To access electronic Disclosures, you will need a personal computer or other device that can access the Internet, PDF reader software, and a working electronic mail address. To keep electronic Disclosures, your device must allow you to download and store them, or to print web pages and embedded files provided electronically.

Withdrawing Consent to Electronic Delivery

Except for email communications and notices about the response or decision made by CCL or an Auto Marketing Partner in connection with your Application, you may withdraw your consent to receive Disclosures electronically at any time by writing to us at info@completecarloans.com. In these circumstances, we will continue the financing process in non-electronic form at no charge. If you withdraw your consent, any prior Disclosures provided in electronic form will remain legally effective, valid, and enforceable.

Paper copies of Disclosures are available at no fee by writing to info@completecarloans.com.

Email Address of Record

To change the email address you provided with your Application, you must notify us of your new email address by writing to info@completecarloans.com. You agree that the most recent email address we maintain for you is the one we may use to provide electronic Disclosures.

Consent and Acknowledgment

By completing all required fields in the Application and selecting the box that says “I read and agree to the Consent for Electronic Documents,” you certify and agree that: you can receive Disclosures electronically and access and retain any documents received; you have access to a computer with a web browser supporting at least 128-bit encryption; you are able to receive and read email at the address provided; you agree to receive documents electronically; you acknowledge that such action constitutes your signature to the credit application; and you provide your consent to receive electronic communications pursuant to the Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act.

Consent for Sharing and Use of Information

The terms “you” and “your” refer to a consumer who submits an electronic application (each, an “Application”) to request services connected with the sale and/or financing of automobiles and related products and services (collectively, the “Products and Services”) through a website maintained by Complete Car Loans, or by or on behalf of nonaffiliated Marketing Partners that have entered into marketing agreements with Complete Car Loans, including up to 5 dealers / lenders.

By completing all required fields in the Application and selecting “I read and agree to the Consent for Sharing and Use of Information,” you understand and agree that:

1. We and our Marketing Partners are authorized to collect, use, and disclose among ourselves the nonpublic personal information about you contained in your Application (including name, telephone numbers, mailing address, email address, birth date, Social Security number, employer, and income). Information received from credit reporting agencies in reference to your pre-qualification will NOT be shared with any other entity.
2. If you submit an Application for credit that is not approved and accepted, CCL is authorized to disclose the nonpublic personal information described above to other non-affiliated companies and financial services providers that may be able to provide or arrange Products and Services.
3. We are not liable or responsible to you for any Products and Services provided by any Marketing Partner or other non-affiliated company.
4. We, our Marketing Partners, and other non-affiliated companies that receive the information described above may use it to contact you directly for marketing and other business purposes, and to obtain additional information including consumer reports.
5. We may also use the nonpublic personal information in your Application to contact you regarding other products and services we think may interest you.

Your information sharing consent remains in effect until you revoke or modify it. You may revoke at any time by writing to info@completecarloans.com.

California Consumer Privacy Act

Complete Car Loans offers this service to help you shop for automobiles online. We will share the information you provide with the dealers and brands you select. They will contact you to go over pricing and incentives for your vehicle selection(s). By using these services, you consent to us sharing the information you provide with these third parties, and you accept the terms outlined in our Terms of Use and this Privacy Policy.
